The Charles T. Lambrukos, DMD Memorial Award will be presented to Dr. Roland H. Bryan, Bedford, NH. Entertainment by NOT TOO SHARP an award-winning male a cappella singing group from the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Waste Management for the Dental Office

I am pleased to announce that the New Hampshire Dental Society (NHDS) has endorsed EnviroBusiness, Inc (EBI) and Onyx Environmental Services for hazardous and infectious waste disposal. Some of the unique and important benefits of this NHDS program include:

"One-stop Shopping: EBI can handle all wastes generated from your offices, including lead aprons, fluorescent bulbs, fixer, developer, amalgam scrap, and used amalgam separator filters/cartridges, as well as hydraulic fluids and other materials generated during office renovations/relocations.

"Pay as you go: There are no monthly service charges, and you only pay for the wastes that are removed from your office.

"Flexible Scheduling: There are no required service schedules for you to worry about. EBI will work with you to develop a pickup schedule that works best for you. This might be a quarterly or semiannual schedule or a "call-ahead" option that allows you to include unscheduled pickups. " Convenient Container Replacement: EBI's waste technicians will have several different sized containers available for your medical waste and hazardous waste storage and shipment needs; you can include replacement containers in your requested pickup.

You will also be happy to know that a thorough regulatory review of Onyx's disposal practices has been accomplished, a review that most dental offices would find cost prohibitive. This review gives you assurance that waste generated from your office is being handled properly from when it leaves the office for disposal.
