Seeking Awesome Part-Time Dental Assistant
If you are looking for a new dental opportunity and career growth, consider joining our team. We are searching for a Dental Assistant to partner with and support our restorative general dentist in creating an exceptional experience and outcome for our patients. This is a great opportunity to use your excellent assisting skills, including radiology certification and four-handed assisting; comfort with computer programs (including dental software); and sterilization experience. However, it's more than what you "do" for our patients, dentist and team - it's the deep caring, positive energy, leadership, connection, communication and passion that you have for people and your work that is also valued.
The position is part time: Tuesday and Wednesday 7 AM – 5 PM, and Thursday 7 AM – 3 PM. Each day starts with a morning huddle and preparation before patients arrive at 7:30. We end each Thursday with a team meeting to review the week and plan for the next.
Our office is a patient-centered comprehensive care practice where helping patients learn about their own desires and goals for health is considered as part of overall care. You'll have access to advanced technology to help with that, so comfort learning new things is a must. Technology includes digital imaging, I/O cameras, CEREC CAD/CAM system, dental laser, Eaglesoft, and more.
Many of our patients tell us that their treatment and experiences here have changed more than their oral health – it’s changed their lives.
In this time of COVID-19, the health of our patients and team are a priority. PPE is provided meeting or exceeding CDC standards and there’s a washer/dryer on site. And beyond PPE, the office has a state-of-the-art air disinfection system (Surgically Clean Air), multiple intra- and extra-oral aerosol suction systems, and surface disinfecting processes that meet all CDC recommendations. Patient flow, clinical and front office layout and processes have all been thoughtfully implemented for optimizing safety and health.
