We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing thorough assessments, and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Duties - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting vital signs. - Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning using aseptic techniques. - Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing oral health issues. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Dentrix and Epic software. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. - Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental health regulations and standards. - Provide care for pediatric patients with a focus on comfort and education. - Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. Requirements: - Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. - Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation review. - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and medical imaging procedures. - Experience working with adults and pediatric patients is preferred. - Knowledge of Eaglesoft software systems is a plus. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. - Commitment to ongoing professional development in dental hygiene practices.
